Ownership of Goods

Title (both legal and equitable) in all goods supplied by Silkwood Living Limited shall remain vested in Silkwood Living and shall not pass to the customer until all monies owing by the customer to Silkwood Living Limited on any account whatsoever have been paid in full. Notwithstanding the forgoing, risk in all the goods shall pass to the customer on delivery.


Silkwood Living Limited reserves the right to alter this document, therefore we recommend you view this document whenever you visit out site to be up to date with current terms and conditions.

Silkwood Living Limited shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special consequential or punitive damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access this website. This includes viruses alleged to have been obtained from this website, your use of or reliance on this website or any of the information or materials available on this website, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action. By your use of this website, you agree that you are using this website solely at your own risk.

At Silkwood Living Limited we respect your privacy and protecting customers confidentiality of personal information is of the upmost importance to us. Silkwood Living Limited will not disclose any customer information to third parties without first giving customers an opportunity to opt-out of certain kinds of disclosures. However, disclosures necessary to prevent fraud, effect administrator or enforce a transaction requested by you to companies that preform services for us may be necessary.


Our products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw temporarily or permanently, the website or any part of it; without notice to you.
Please note that some stock shown on our website may not be on display in our store but is in our warehouse. Please contact us 24 hours prior (Monday-Friday 10am-3pm) to make sure your item is available to collect from our Paengaroa store ( or may be collected from our Warehouse , 6 minutes away)


Silkwood Living Limited is stated in New Zealand dollars, including GST of 15%. We reserve the right to change any price without warning. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the integrity of pricing, and update price changes effectively. Advertised specials are only available while stocks last.

Every effort has been made to portray the colours of our products that appear on this website as accurately as possible. However, because the actual colours you see depend on the monitor you are using, Silkwood Living cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.

Shipping and Delivery

If delivery is required , please advise your preferred carrier. Alternatively, we will use our general carrier and arrange delivery OR you may to chose to collect yourself ( with an arranged time)
All items are inspected before delivery and once items are dispatched any damages during delivery are outside of our control. Deliveries take between 3-10 days process and deliver depending on location and courier runs. During busy periods, orders may be slightly delayed.

Please email us or call to get an exact quote on furniture delivery prior to purchasing online.  Please supply the product codes you are after and the exact delivery address.

Due to the extensive range we stock and the large variances in delivery costs throughout NZ we are unable to quote these accurately on our website. If you wish to purchase larger items prior to finding out shipping cost, you may do this on our website, and we will be in touch soon after with the available delivery dates. Payment for delivery costs can be with bank deposit.

We do not ship outside of New Zealand

Silkwood Living Limited will send you an email when your order has been dispatched with the courier information and consignment number. You will also be able to log into the carrier’s website to ‘track and trace’ your package.

For all larger items: you may choose to collect your own furniture in person from our store ( or Warehouse) . If so, you will need to liaise with us regarding time frames and logistics or alternatively we can arrange a quote for you with our prefers carrier. Call us on (07) 5331512 for these arrangements.

Returns and replacements

Due to the nature of our products, we will not accept any return goods unless they have been delivered faulty or damaged. If they are either damaged or faulty, please contact the shop via phone or email within 2 days of receiving goods. We will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Under that Act in the first instance we reserve the right to repair or replace the goods. If we are unable to repair or replace the goods a store credit will be issued. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase so please choose carefully.

Please note that customers are responsible for the financial cost of returning goods back to Silkwood Living. We will assist where possible.


All items on our website ( unless stated) were in stock the previous day. Therefore, should a product be sold in store before the website is updated, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your payment.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract of purchase exists between us. Once your order has been finalised, we will email you a second confirmation of order and dispatch details.


Once you have placed your order and payment has been made you cannot cancel your order so please choose carefully.
